BAAHUBALI TRAILER REMOVED FROM YOUTUBE...

HYDERABAD: The Baahubali promo was removed from YouTube on Thursday. Apparently, they could not ascertain whether the insane number of hits the trailers — released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi — got was real or spam.

According to a source, YouTube wants to check whether the promo was receiving “fake” views and “likes”. Within just a couple of days of uploading, Baahubali’s promos received nearly three million views. When contacted, producer Shobhu Yarlagadda confirms, “We didn’t remove the YouTube video. As there were too many views in a short period of time, YouTube has temporarily taken down the video to ascertain whether there is any spam.”
About getting the promos back online, he adds, “We are in touch with YouTube and are trying to resolve it.” Interestingly, the Telugu version of the promo has got more views than Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. The Hindi promo has got nearly 1.7 million views till now and the Tamil version got nearly four lakh views. The Malayalam version too has been viewed more than 1 lakh times.
