A poultry farm in Thorur village Hayathnagar Mandal nearby Hyderabad is infected from bird flu, all the infected birds are killed and buried. But according to Animal Husbandry Department officials said, minimum 1 lakh eggs were transported to Mumbai in the last five days and those eggs may contain the flu symptoms.
"Each egg equals to an amount of one Grenade, so people of Mumbai be aware while buying eggs and follow the precautions suggested by the officials"
Animal Husbandry Department suggested a method for consuming eggs.
* Boil eggs for at least 20 mins to kill virus of flu.
